Privacy Policy
The short version
We collect the minimum information needed to take your order and ship a cartridge to your address. We don't sell your data, we don't share it with third parties beyond what's needed to fulfill orders, and the cartridge itself runs locally on your home WiFi — your cure data never touches our servers.
1. What we collect
From the website:
- Email address — when you join the waitlist or place an order.
- Shipping information — name, address, phone (collected at checkout via Stripe).
- Payment details — handled directly by Stripe; we never see your full card number.
- Anonymous analytics — Vercel Analytics tracks page views and general traffic patterns. No cookies, no cross-site tracking.
From the cartridge:
- Nothing. The device communicates with your local WiFi only. We don't collect or receive any operational data from cartridges in customers' homes.
2. How we use it
- Email — for order confirmations, shipping notifications, and (optionally) firmware update announcements you can unsubscribe from.
- Shipping info — to ship your cartridge to you. That's it.
- Payment details — Stripe processes payment; they store the card data under their PCI compliance, not us.
3. Who we share it with
We don't sell your data. The only third parties who see any of it are services we use to operate:
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — sending you order confirmation + shipping emails.
- Vercel — hosting the website.
- Shipping carrier (USPS, UPS, etc.) — your shipping label.
Each of these is bound by their own privacy policy. We share only what's operationally necessary.
4. Your rights
Email hi@kristicart.com to:
- See what we have stored about you.
- Delete your data (we'll keep order records as required for tax/accounting, but remove email + marketing data).
- Unsubscribe from any future communications.
5. Cookies
The website doesn't set any tracking cookies. Stripe's hosted checkout sets its own cookies for fraud prevention while you're on their checkout page — see Stripe's privacy policy for details.
6. Children
Kristi Cart is sold to adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
7. Changes to this policy
We'll update the “Last updated” date if we change anything material. Significant changes will be emailed to past customers.
